Okay so thank you guys for all your input I got so frustrated by this problem that I learned how to recolour hair and enable it to work genetically. I once had a parent that had the pink hair, give birth and the child had black. Our males can get abducted by aliens and have alien babies but they draw the line at children having unnatural hair colors hopefully theyll make them all available soon.or.even ever. I dont have a solution but I just wanted to say that I wish theyd make the unnatural hair colors available for kids as well, I dont understand why they didnt. Or maybe it takes it into account anyway, I dunno as thats the only time ive really noticed a childs hair become exactly the same as one of its parents once they aged up. Ive noticed the game uses a lot of the custom content hair I put into it My Female sim (who id created with Black CC hair) had a child with a game generated Male sim (Abel Bernal) who had bright pink custom content hair.Īs a child the baby had black hair like the mother, but once they aged into a teen their hair changed colour and style to the same pink CC hair as the Fathers So maybe it does take it into account if the game itself has generated the sims to use CC hair and colours. It would have to be a colour thats accessible to children in the game (like red to use your example). Hm, but if I did that and used a CC hair, I couldnt make my Sims hair say, blue or green or something like that. Its not 100 since Sims 4 genetic mutation is really high and that red color might be naturally.
Maybe make a sims with a cc hair and have that sim get with someone with normal EA colors (not red) and if the children has red hair then that hair came from the sim with cc hair. To have that all modders would have to code their hairs with each other so the genetics would pass on.īut all cc hairs Ive noticed without EA colors the childrens hair would always be red.
